Definition: A resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical
component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit
element. In electronic circuits, resistors are used to reduce current flow,
adjust signal levels, to divide voltages, bias active
elements, and terminate transmission lines, among other uses.
Resistors not only require resistance, but
also power. In large scale applications, the power requirements are not
stressed as the current through resistors are quite small, however, low-power
resistors cannot be applied in power equipments and white goods. What you need
is high-power resistors.
Factory power resistors use foil technology,
mounting through hole, SMD with high precision. High quality and cost power
resistors give people and electronics more options to improve.
More and more better resistors like power
resistors mentioned, SMD resistors, thin film precision chip resistors, busbar
with shunt resistors are provided in the future.
